April "Craft & Crop" at the Bird House

Here is the card we will be creating April 8th 6:30pm to midnight.

This is a combination of a tri-fold card and a Gate card style in one
I cut the cute flower from "Flower Shoppe Cricut Cartridge and the leaves from the cartridge Creative Cards. I put a little rhinestone in the center and used foam squares to add a little 3-D. The quote I found online printed it on white card stock, chalked the edges and matted it in black. This card was created using scraps I had laying around just waiting to become something pretty.

The inside of the card has been matted and I found another sweet quote to use. Remember when you use a quote and the author's name is provided, you must give them credit. This card was fun. I hope you think so too. I wander who I will send it to.
Remember to reserve your seat for this event. You can even invite a friend. Can't wait to see you.

April "Craft & Crop" at the Bird House

Here are the Pages we will be doing for April 8th "Craft & Crop" at the Bird House.

Here are our April pages. I chalked every thing. I used a bunch of really cute paper. If you are new and don't know what to bring, just bring some glue, scissors, foam squares, and brown chalk. If you are not sure, come anyways, we love to share.

I have always wanted to use this jar cut and they were cut at different sizes with my Cricut machine using Doodlecharms cartridge.

I also cut the different size circles and small heart with my Cricut using Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge.

The word enjoy, was cut from Graphically Speaking Cricut Cartidge.

The word Smile was cut from Going Places Cricut Cartridge.
The quotes I got online. I printed them on white card stock and framed them in black.
The rest I got from looking at bunches of examples and taking something I like from where ever I saw it.
These were so fun to make. Can't wait to share them with you.
Make sure to text 817-999-8223 to reserve your seat.

March "Craft & Crop" at the Bird House (Card, and pages

March 11th at 6:30pm to Midnight we will be making this card and these pages along with the purse shaped Album.

Here are the pages and our theme for this month is Spring.
I used a lot of different techniques on these pages.

These cute flowers where made with my Cricut die cut machine and I rolled the petals and layered them to give then that 3-D look, then put a rhinestone sicker in the center.

I used a burlap braided ribbon I bought at Walmart for the banner rope. Then I hand cut different size strips of card stock and cut the bottom to look like flags, then layered them and used foam squares on the last layer to create this pretty banner. I found this quote on line and printed it on white card stock, cut it out and layered it with coordinating card stock and used a foam square to pop it out. The word "Spring" I cut from my Cricut die cut machine and added a little yellow flower I bought at Micheal's in a package of 15 or so, from their $1.00 ben.

On the second page I used a Martha Stewart punch. The paper I used for these pages is a K&Company card stock pack of two sided paper. I added flags that have been framed with black card stock. Then I took squares of paper and layered them for a cute design. You can see this design on the front of the paper pack. I added another quote from the Internet. When you used someones quotes if they have their name on it be sure to give them credit. If not your free to use it without the authors name.

I used pearl stickers to bling this page and I purchased them at Walmart. They are attached in strings so you can line them up easily.

Here is the cute spring card. I used white card to make my card base, layered with solid purple 1/4 smaller then the size of my card base. Then I chose this design from the same K&Company paper pack and cut it 1/4 inch smaller then the last layer and attached my ribbon first so I could fold the ends under and then attach it to the purple layer.  I found a small flower stamp I had and stamped purple flowers and on white card stock scraps. I cut squares around them and then glued them on purple scraps and cut 1/4 around them. I added a rhinestone to each flower and then attached them with foam squares. I also found a cute quote and printed it on white card stock, cut around it and then cut the end to look like a flag. Then glued it on purple scraps and attached it with a foam square and there you have it.

Here I tried to show how the foam squares make the design of the card look 3-D.

Well hope to see you this Saturday at my house. Here is a list of the  seats reserved, if your name is not here text me please I have a couple of seats left. Can't wait to see you!
